WCMA & MMPA Conference Attendees Tour Gator Millworks’ Facilities
Earlier this week, we were fortunate enough to host the Wood Component Manufacturers Association (WCMA) and the Moulding & Millwork Producers Association (MMPA) for a tour of our facilities. The group was in New Orleans for its 2019 Fall Conference and was able to visit Denham Springs to see our full layout and meet the Gator team.
Kellie Schroeder, MMPA CEO, stated “Gator Millworks couldn’t have been a better host. Getting a chance to interact with all the teams and watch all the crews engage with each other, you can see the culture here is different and different is good.” After touring our current shop, we did a full walk through of our new, state-of-the-art facility as it nears completion. These group members love innovative ideas and forward-thinking outlooks, and we were extremely excited to show them everything we have planned for our new space.
“From this tour, I hope people take away that we are innovative with our technology, processes and how we function. But we also put an emphasis on our culture, our people and the industry as a whole. That’s very important to us and what we do here at Gator,” says Kort McDonough, Gator Millworks’ Business Process Manager.
For Gator Millworks, the tour was a great opportunity to showcase how we operate in such a diverse and evolving field while sharing our thoughts and processes with an amazing group of industry professionals.
