Gator Millworks Donates Face Masks to East Feliciana Healthcare Workers
When Louisiana communities needed help, we knew we had to step up. Healthcare workers and first responders in East Feliciana Parish were running dangerously low on personal protective equipment, and the call for support went out across the state. For our team, there was no hesitation. Using the tools, materials and skills we already had, we shifted gears to create the protective gear our neighbors needed most.
Pivoting from custom millwork to manufacturing PPE might sound like a big change, but for us, it came down to one thing—helping people. Our team quickly adapted our processes to produce durable, medical-grade face shields designed to protect those serving on the front lines. It was a moment that reminded us what community and craftsmanship truly mean.
The experience brought our team closer together and gave new purpose to our work. Every shield made was a small act of gratitude for the doctors, nurses and first responders who put themselves at risk every day.
We’re proud to have played even a small part in protecting the people who protect us.
