How ISA 2025 Inspired the Future of Signage at Gator

In April, our team headed to Las Vegas for the ISA International Sign Expo®—one of the largest gatherings in the signage and visual communications industry. With over 20,000 attendees and a show floor packed with technology and materials, we had the opportunity to dive deep into what’s next for custom signage. 

We left the Mandalay Bay Convention Center with a renewed sense of direction and the tools to take our signage capabilities even further. 

New Tools, New Possibilities

Our team learned about enhanced capabilities for wide-format and 3D printing as well as advanced printable materials and fabric signage. The technology on display opened the door to greater flexibility in how we approach these mediums. We explored fasteners that eliminate the need for sewing, which simplifies installation and delivers a cleaner finish. 

We also spent time studying backlit signage and lightboxes, gaining insight into how lighting can dramatically enhance visibility and design. Beyond aesthetics, we saw firsthand how accessible signage has evolved. With what we now have in place, we feel more prepared to work with ADA-compliant signage tailored to a wide range of spaces. 

Lighting Up the Future

LEDs and digital displays stood out across the expo floor. These advancements allow for brighter visuals, energy saving and longer lifespans. This is an ideal combination for those who prioritize impact and efficiency. 

Learning Beyond the Booths

In addition to hands-on product demos, we attended several training sessions focused on design trends, sign code legislation and business strategy. These weren’t surface-level conversations. They offered practical insight that will influence how we collaborate, quote projects and solve challenges through signage. 

Building Relationships, Finding Inspiration

Connecting with others in the industry is always a highlight. We met seasoned professionals and innovative suppliers that left us feeling energized and supported. There were plenty of moments to share ideas, ask questions and explore what’s possible with the right tools and the right partners.
