Passing the Torch: Carrying Forward a Legacy in Millwork
Every legacy reaches a moment that defines its future. For our company, that moment came when Chad made the decision to step in during a season of uncertainty. After graduating high school in 1999, he pursued business finance in college, always drawn to numbers and growth. Millwork was never part of a set plan. It simply became the path when leadership was needed most.
When his father became ill and faced a long hospital stay, priorities shifted. Chad chose to leave college and return full time to help carry the weight of the business. It was not an easy decision, but it was the right one for that moment.
Stepping Into Leadership
During that transition, responsibilities expanded quickly. From meeting with clients to handling administrative work and production oversight, Chad stepped forward without hesitation. He bridged traditional craftsmanship with emerging computerized technology, understanding both hand drawings and modern systems.
The shift was seamless. If anything, operations strengthened. As ownership conversations unfolded, the opportunity to buy into the company became real. A year and a half later, the deal was complete. What began as helping through a difficult season became long term leadership.
Building on a Strong Foundation
Growth followed. Under Chad’s leadership, the company expanded beyond what was originally imagined. New capabilities, new technology and new opportunities positioned us for the future while protecting the values that built the foundation.
There is no greater reward than seeing a vision carried forward and elevated. What started as a father’s dream is now a legacy driven by dedication, innovation and belief in what is possible.
The torch has been passed, and the journey continues with purpose.
