Every year, on the first Friday of October, manufacturers across the country open their doors to showcase what modern manufacturing looks like. MFG Day, organized by the Manufacturing Institute, is about inspiring the next generation and showing how real careers are built. Gator Millworks is proud to be part of this national effort to shift perceptions and spark curiosity. 

Hands-On Learning, Real-World Connections 

This year, we welcomed students and educators from our community to experience custom millwork up close. They walked through our facility and followed the journey of a raw material as it moved through design, machining, finishing and quality control. When students see how their classroom lessons apply to a real process, it brings their education to life in a powerful way.

As a custom millwork company, we believe the future of manufacturing starts with exposure and opportunity. We want students to see the career paths in shops like ours. Careers built on creativity, technology and craftsmanship. By participating in MFG Day, we’re investing in that future and helping our industry grow stronger, one student at a time.
